Miami, Fla. - FIU Women's Basketball has released their game times for the upcoming 2024-25 season, highlighted by five evening timeslots at home as part of the Conference USA broadcast schedule, which was released Thursday afternoon.
The Panthers' season will consist of 29 matchups, each of which will be broadcast on ESPN+, with the exception of the matchup against Miami which will be broadcasted on ACC Network+.
FIU will begin play on November 4 at 7 PM against Florida National, followed by Abilene Christian on November 8, also at 7 PM.
The Panthers will follow up that matchup with two 7 PM starts in a row, the first coming on November 13 at home against Jacksonville State, and the following coming at Miami on November 19. FIU will then welcome rival Florida Atlantic to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center for a Saturday 1 PM matinee.
Following their matchup with FAU, the Panthers will host the FIU Thanksgiving Classic, with Sacramento State, Abilene Christian, and Wagner coming for the event from November 29 to December 1. The Panthers will play their first matchup of the tournament against Wagner on November 29 at 12 PM, with their second game coming on December 1 at 1 PM, with their opponent to be determined based on the outcome of the previous games.
On December 7, Yale will touch down in Miami for a 1 PM start at the OBCC. Following that, the Panthers will hop on a plane for the first time to travel to UT Arlington for a 5 PM ET matchup on December 16.
FIU will host the Christmas Classic on December 20 and 21, playing Hampton on December 20 at 12 PM, then facing off against Miami (OH) on December 21, again at 12 PM.
After the holiday break, conference play starts for the Panthers, traveling to Middle Tennessee for their first CUSA matchup on January 2 at 7:30 PM ET, and staying on the road to face Western Kentucky on January 4 at 3 PM ET.
The Panthers' first home matches of CUSA play will come on January 9 against Louisiana Tech at 7 PM, and January 11 at 1 PM against Sam Houston. From there, FIU will hit the road again to match up against New Mexico State on January 16 at 8 PM ET, and UTEP at 2:30 PM ET on January 18.
The Panthers will have a quick trip to Lynchburg to match up against Liberty on January 25 at 1 PM before welcoming Jacksonville State and Kennesaw State to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on January 30 and February 1. The game against Jacksonville State will occur at 7 PM, while the following matchup against Kennesaw State will start at 1 PM.
On February 6, FIU will travel for the second matchup against Sam Houston, with the game to be played at 7:30 PM ET, and will stay on the road to match up against Louisiana Tech for a 2 PM start time.
The Panthers will be back at the Bank for three consecutive home matchups, first against UTEP on February 13 at 11 AM for the annual STEAM Day, then matching up against New Mexico State on February 15 with a 1 PM start. A week later, FIU will face off against Liberty on February 22 at 1 PM, their final matchup of the regular season with the Flames.
FIU will hit the road for their last road trip of the regular season at Kennesaw State on February 27 at 7 PM, then going to Jacksonville State at 2:30 PM on March 1 to conclude the road trip.
The Panthers will be back at home for their final homestand against Western Kentucky on March 6 at 7 PM, then welcoming Middle Tennessee on March 8 at 1 PM for the final matchup of the regular season.
The Conference USA Women's Basketball Championship will return to Huntsville, Alabama, to be played at the Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center, starting on Tuesday, March 11. The tournament will culminate with the championship matchup on March 15 at 5:30 PM, to be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
