MIAMI - FIU men's soccer forward Bernardo Dos Santos Monteiro was named to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) First Team All-Conference, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Dos Santos Monteiro, from Cascais, Portugal, earned First-Team All-Conference honors in 2024 after leading FIU's offensive efforts. He shares the team lead in goals (3) and points (7) and leads the AAC in total shots (38). His 15 shots on goal rank third in the conference. This recognition comes after being named to the AAC Second Team in each of the past two seasons.
The senior netted his season-opening goal in the 4-3 win vs #10 UCF on Sept. 11. Additionally, scored the game-winner and added with an assist in the 3-1 victory at Central Arkansas on Sept. 15, being named the AAC offensive player of the week
Through his four seasons with FIU, Dos Santos Monteiro has played in 71 matches, recording 22 goals and seven assists while proudly donning the Blue and Gold.
