Jacksonville, Fla. – The No. 13 team in the country FIU will begin their season at the 2024 Jacksonville Invitational on February 24-25. The Panthers will take on the likes of Coastal Carolina, University of North Florida, University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Palm Beach Atlantic and Jacksonville University.

The Panthers look to start the season strong as they begin their quest to return to the NCAA Tournament. FIU has never had a losing season, dating back to their inaugural season in 2013 and will look to continue that trend in 2024.
Coastal Carolina is coming off a stellar year where they went 25-13, beating multiple ranked opponents in University of Washington, Georgia State and Florida Atlantic. The Chanticleers made it all the way to Sun Belt Conference Championship before falling to Georgia State. Similarly, UNF is also coming off a great year. In the 2023 season, the Ospreys went 24-11, making it all the way to the ASUN conference tournament semifinals before falling to Florida Gulf Coast.
University of Tennessee-Chattanooga is coming off a winning season where they went 19-15, losing in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament to Moorehead State. Palm Beach Atlantic is already 3-0 on the season, having swept their tri-meet against Palm Beach State, Barry, Webber International and Warner. The Sailfish did not lose a single game, with nine pairs recording wins in the meet. Jacksonville University is coming off a losing season, going 13-23 in 2023 before losing to fellow Jacksonville Invite member North Florida in the ASUN Conference Tournament.
