FORT MYERS, Fla. - The diving program wrapped up their regular season, taking down the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, 27-13, Saturday afternoon from the FGCU Aquatics Center.
FIU secured top finishes in both the 1-meter, and 3-meter as sophomore
Ruska Lehtonen secured a first-place finish in the 1-meter for a score of 255.98. Graduate student
Paige Burrell racked up a top finish in the 3-meter for an overall score of 280.88.
Lehtonen added in with a second-place finish in the 3-meter, scoring a total of 252.45. In the 1-meter,
Mikaela Starr tallied a second-place score, logging a total of 253.80 on the afternoon.
Alexa Lemus Hernandez earned a finish in fifth place for a 224.85 in the 1-meter, while
Bethany Holman took home sixth in the 3-meter (214.95).
