Box Score MIAMI — FIU's 28th-ranked women's tennis program swept Boston University 7-0 at home on Wednesday afternoon.
The Panthers (10-2) notched their ninth-straight victory, blanking BU at home. FIU won 2-of-3 doubles matches and all six singles matches for their second victory in as many days.
In doubles, Katerina Mandelikova and Oyinlomo Quadre opened the day with a 6-2 win as the No. 1 pairing. Petja Drame and Valery Gynina secured a 6-4 victory at No. 3 doubles, 6-4, to secure the doubles point for the Panthers.
Quadre also earned a win in singles at No. 1, winning 7-5, 7-6. Ekaterina Khairutdinova won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 while Gynina picked up a 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.
Mandelikova at No. 4 won 7-5, 6-3 and Salma Loudili at No. 5 won 6-4, 6-3. Petja Drame ended up clinching the match with the third singles victory and fourth point for FIU with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
