MIAMI – The FIU football team will travel to face off against Liberty on Tuesday, October 8 as part of a recent schedule change announced by Conference USA officials.
The game, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 9 was moved at the request of Conference USA to Tuesday, October 8 with a 7 p.m. (ET) kick time. Additional information will be provided at a later date.
FIU and Liberty have met two previous times in the sport of football – including a matchup in Miami last season, which was the Flames' first as a member of CUSA. The Panthers have made one previous trip to Lynchburg – a narrow 36-34 setback on Sept. 26, 2020.
The Panthers are scheduled to kick off the 2024 campaign at Big Ten member Indiana in Bloomington on Saturday, August 31.
