MIAMI — Fresh off a bowl game appearance and a 4-0 close to the 2025 regular season, FIU's football program is set to host the 2026 Spring Game, presented by Baptist Health on Saturday, April 11 at 3 p.m. from South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium.
The fan-friendly, fast-paced event is free for all to attend. Free tickets can be claimed in advance by visiting FIUTickets.com; tickets can also be secured the day of the game by visiting Ticket Booth C next to Gate 7 on the North side of the stadium.
Fans are encouraged to wear Biscayne Blue or Navy in support of either Team Biscayne Blue or Team Navy.
Below is a breakdown of what fans can expect as head coach Willie Simmons puts his high-energy and up-tempo team on display on the brand-new turf at Pitbull Stadium.
Parking & Entrance
- Primary parking is available for fans in Lot 7 and the CSC Lot (located behind home plate of the FIU Baseball Stadium). Overflow parking on campus will be in Lots 3, 4 and 10, along with Parking Garages 1 and 2. Please follow all posted signage on gameday.
- Please note that Tamiami Park and Cuban Memorial Lot parking is not available.
- For entrance to the stadium, fans are asked to enter through Gate 8 or Gate 9.
- All seating is general admission and will be on the North side of the stadium. To note, the South side of the stadium will be closed off for the game.
Timing & Structure
- Gates open to the public at 2 p.m. and the game will begin promptly at 3 p.m.
- FIU's football program will be conducting a live draft on Wednesday evening to select the players for Team Biscayne Blue vs. Team Navy.
- The first two quarter of the game will each be 10 minutes with normal clock stoppages; there will be no TV timeouts.
- The final two quarters will be 15 minutes each with a running clock, except for any change of possession and the two-minute timeout in the 4th quarter.
- Shortly following the conclusion of the game - approximately around 5/5:15 p.m. - fans will have the opportunity to go onto the brand new turf at Pitbull Stadium for a 20-minute autograph signing. Commemorative Spring Game will be distributed at this time for fans to have players sign.
- For Panther fans that wish to continue their day on campus, FIU Athletics encourages you to attend the FIU Baseball game vs. Kennesaw State, of which begins at 5 p.m. at FIU Baseball Stadium.
VIP Sideline Experience
- Panther Club members will receive access to an exclusive VIP Sideline Experience.
- Taking place on the field and in a covered space along the North sideline, fans can enjoy complimentary food and drink while being close to the action.

Pregame Festivities
- Games and tailgating will be occurring in front of Parkview Hall on the turf, immediately adjacent to the stadium's North side.
- Roary's Playground – inside the stadium, a devoted area featuring additional games targeted for children.
- Several other FIU Athletics partners will be activating and tabling throughout the North Concourse.
Promotions & Items
- Music throughout the game and on-field interviews will be done by DJ MDOT and Gametime Nesh.
- T-shirts will be given away at various times throughout the game.
- Team awards for the top spring performers will be announced at halftime.
- There will be quarter-break and halftime performances form the Spirit Teams.
- Concession stands will be open on the North Concourse.
- For those unable to attend, the game will be broadcasted on the FIU Athletics website at fiusports.com/WatchSpringGame.
Media
- Media will be permitted entry through Gate 11 at 2 p.m. and all credentials will be available at that location.
- A postgame press conference will occur with Coach Simmons and select other FIU Football personnel in the team room space inside the Kirk Landon Fieldhouse.
