MIAMI – The FIU swimming and diving program was named a CSCAA Scholar All-America team for the 2024 spring semester, announced by the organization Monday.
Member teams must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher to earn this honor and FIU finished the semester with a 3.67.
The American Athletic Conference, the Panthers' conference member, was one of 20 D-I conferences to be named 100% Scholar All-America. These are conferences where every single member achieved GPAs of 3.0 or higher.
FIU's 3.67 team GPA for the 2024 spring semester was the second highest of any team on campus. The squad boasted nine perfect 4.0 GPAs and 22 over 3.5.
