MIAMI – As the FIU football team continues its pursuit of bowl eligibility, fans and their furry friends will have the unique opportunity to wrap up the 2025 home season on Saturday, Nov. 22, with the inaugural Paws at the Pit game against Jacksonville State at 3:30 p.m.
Paws at the Pit is a one-of-a-kind FIU football gameday experience that invites fans to bring their dogs to South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium for a family-friendly afternoon of tail-wagging fun. Designed for both animal lovers and football fans, the event transforms gameday into a lively community celebration with pet-friendly seating, hydration stations, on-site adoptions and playful halftime activities.
General-admission tickets in the designated Paws at the Pit section are only $9 and can be
purchased by clicking here or visiting FIUTickets.com. For those with questions, please call (305) 348-4263.
Throughout the concourse, fans can explore a variety of pet-focused vendors, including a doggie bakery, grooming services, veterinarians and other local pet businesses offering treats and resources. Whether you come for the touchdowns or the tail wags, Paws at the Pit turns a football Saturday into a celebration of pets, people and Panther pride.
That Panther pride will be on full display on the game also serves as FIU America 250 Military Appreciation game and Senior Day for this group of Panthers playing final home game.
