MIAMI – The FIU's men's soccer program will be the No. 4 seed in the upcoming American Conference Men's Soccer Championships, as announced by the league office on Sunday night.
The fourth-seeded Panthers (6-8-2, 4-4 American) will face off with the fifth-seeded Missouri State Bears (6-5-4, 3-3-2 American) on the evening of Friday, Nov, 7 with a kick time of 7 p.m. from Leyva Family Field at FIU Soccer Stadium, streamed live on ESPN+.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning, with FIU students entering for free with a valid FIU student ID.
The two sides played this past Sept. 21 from Miami as the Panthers took down the Bears in a 1-0 thriller.
Charlotte earned the No. 1 overall seed as the co-regular season champions and will await the winner of Missouri State-FIU in the semi-finals on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. ET. In addition, Charlotte will host the site of all semi-final and championships as the No. 1 overall seed.
Third-seeded South Florida take on sixth-seeded Tulsa in the other first round matchup on Friday, Nov. 7 slated for 7 p.m. ET. Second-seeded Florida Atlantic will await the winner of South Florida/Tulsa. The semifinal round will then be on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
The championship game is then slated for Saturday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.
