MIAMI – The FIU swimming & diving program dropped a 172.5–121.5 decision to Marshall Tuesday afternoon at the Doral Aquatic Center.
The Panthers recorded 10 top-two finishes on the day, highlighted by five individual and relay victories.
Freshman
Pauline Zeller captured first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.30 and added a runner-up finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:03.42).
Sophomore
Tawannah McLemore earned a win in the 50-yard freestyle (23.50) and placed third in the 100-yard freestyle (53.57), while fellow sophomore
Claudia Frasca took top honors in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.84).
Senior
Ana Luiza Daisson posted a pair of second-place finishes, touching second in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.00) and the 100-yard freestyle (53.21).
Faustine Mercier added a second-place effort in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:12.61.
FIU found success in the relay events, winning both the 200-yard medley relay (1:44.63) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:35.52).
On the boards, the Panthers dominated the diving events. FIU swept the top three spots in the 1-meter event, led by
Kristina Keenan's winning score of 236.60, followed by
Adyson Downey (211.65) and
Sydney Soto (209.00).
In the 3-meter event, FIU claimed the top four finishes, with Soto taking first (251.00), Keenan placing second (231.80), Downey finishing third (230.40), and
Brooke Megdall rounding out the sweep in fourth (227.85).

FIU hosts the FIU Sprint Invite to open 2026 on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. from the Doral Aquatic Center. Results will be available via MeetMobile.
