SARASOTA, Fla. — FIU's women's golf program completed its second tournament of the spring season at the Spartan Suncoast Invite, hosted by Michigan State. 

The Panthers competed at the Palm Aire Country Club's Champions Course Feb. 16-17 in Sarasota. Hoi Ki Lau was FIU's top finisher with a total score of 219, placing t-25th. Ki Lau posted two under-par rounds of 70 following an opening round 79.

Catalina Harvey fired a 225, the Panthers' second-best finish, good for t-55th. Harvey opened the weekend with an even-par round of 72. Gabriella Gomez and Karissa Kilby finished third and fourth, respectively, among FIU competitors with a total score of 237, tied-77th. Kilby shot an even-par 72 to close out the three-round event. 

Amandine Seguin finished 80th with a score of 240. FIU had scores of 310-304-292 for a 906 total, finishing 15th of 15 teams.

FIU will next compete March 7-9 at the Gators Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
