Swim's Emma Becker Set for Competition at NCAA Championships

Becker will compete in the 100-breast on Friday, March 21

FEDERAL WAY, Wash.  –  Junior swimmer Emma Becker heads to Federal Way, Washington for the 2025 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, running Wednesday, March 19 through Saturday, March 22 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center.

Live coverage of the NCAA Championships will be available on ESPN+, with prelims starting at 1 p.m. followed by finals at 9 p.m each day. Live results will be available on the NCAA Championships Central page and to paid subscribers on the MeetMobile app.

FIU carries one qualified student-athlete competing in junior swimmer Emma Becker.

The selection for Becker marks the 14th consecutive year that an FIU swimmer has been invited to compete at the NCAA Championships. The streak currently stands as the longest among all mid-major swimming and diving programs.

Becker was invited by the NCAA committee to compete in the 100 breaststroke at the No. 21 ranked spot with a time of 59.02. The junior has delivered an exceptional season so far, setting both a school and meet record in the 100-breaststroke while securing three medals, including a gold in the 400 medley relay (3:36.12) and silver in the 400 freestyle relay (3:19.68).

UP NEXT
FIU's lone event in the 100-breast will be on Friday, March 21. Prelims begin at 1 p.m. and finals set at 9 p.m.. It will be streamed live on ESPN+ and followed on MeetMobile.
