MIAMI – FIU's women's tennis program has set the stage for its 2026 campaign with the release of its schedule on Thursday afternoon.
The Panthers, Conference USA's (CUSA) reigning three-time champions, will begin their pursuit of a fourth-straight league title this spring.
FIU is set to compete in 19 dual matches, 12 at home, during the spring season before heading to Murfreesboro, Tenn., for the Conference USA Championships, where the Panthers will look to capture their fourth consecutive CUSA Tournament crown.
The 2026 spring slate opens on the road in nearby Coral Gables, as FIU takes on Miami on Jan. 30. The Panthers then return home to host Syracuse on Feb. 1 and UCF on Feb. 13, followed by a matchup against Princeton on Feb. 21.
FIU closes the month of February with a road swing through Texas, facing Texas State on Feb. 28 before taking on North Texas on March 1 in Denton.
March features a heavy home slate for the Panthers, beginning with back-to-back matches against Boston University on March 10 and Yale on March 11. FIU will continue its homestand by welcoming James Madison (March 16) and Columbia (March 18), before hosting Conference USA opponents Middle Tennessee (March 20) and Delaware (March 22). The Panthers' home schedule in March concludes against DePaul on March 25.
FIU returns to the road at the end of March with a two-match trip to Jacksonville, Fla., facing North Florida on March 27 and Austin Peay on March 28.
The Panthers open April at home against Tulane on April 2 before traveling to Houston, Texas, to take on USF on April 4 and Rice on April 5. The regular season concludes on April 11 with a home matchup against Florida Atlantic.
Postseason play begins April 15–18, as FIU heads to Murfreesboro for the Conference USA Championships, hosted by Middle Tennessee, where FIU will look to defend its title. A victory at the CUSA Championships will earn FIU a fifth-consecutive berth in the NCAA Championships, scheduled to begin on May 1.
