MIAMI — FIU's women's tennis program suffered a 4-1 defeat to visiting-Columbia on Wednesday in non-conference action at home.
The Panthers (3-7) fell to the 51st-ranked Lions (10-3), dropping the doubles point and falling on Courts 1, 3 and 6 in singles.
Vittoria Baccino provided the lone point for the Panthers with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles. FIU forfeited its matchup at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles due to a lack of healthy players.
UP NEXT
FIU will take on its first Conference USA (CUSA)-foe of the season on Friday, March 20 at 11 a.m. at the PayCargo Tennis Center.
