MIAMI – Four members of the FIU women's tennis program were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their accomplishments both on the court and in the classroom. 

Katerina Mandelikova, Vittoria Baccino, Viktorie Hazmukova, and Aleksandra Simeva each earned the honor following standout academic and athletic performances during the 2025-26 season.

Mandelikova, a double major in Business Analytics and International Business, posted a 3.80 cumulative GPA while leading the Panthers with a 13-4 singles record, highlighted by a six-match winning streak to close the season. The lone senior primarily competed at the No. 1 singles position and helped anchor FIU's top doubles pairing alongside Hazmukova, combining for 10 doubles victories and earning a spot in the ITA Top 66 rankings during the spring campaign.

Baccino earned recognition while pursuing a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and maintaining a 3.87 cumulative GPA. The Italy native recorded eight singles victories and added eight doubles wins during the season, competing primarily across the Nos. 2 and 3 singles positions for the Panthers.

Hazmukova, also majoring in Sport and Exercise Science, recorded a 3.77 cumulative GPA while contributing in both singles and doubles play for FIU. The sophomore from the Czech Republic tallied 10 doubles victories alongside Mandelikova, while also adding six singles wins during dual-match competition.

Simeva, a Hospitality and Tourism Management major, holds a 3.83 cumulative GPA. The junior collected seven singles victories during the season, including wins in six of her final nine completed matches. She also contributed across multiple doubles pairings throughout the year, totaling six doubles victories and earning CUSA Doubles Team of the Week honors.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic achievements during the 2025-26 season.
