MIAMI– FIU men's basketball has inked another guard for the 2026-27 roster, announcing the addition of East Carolina transfer
Corey Caulker.
In his first season at the Division I level, Caulker played in all 31 games for the Pirates, averaging 7.9 points and 3.8 assists per game. He finished the year third in the American in assist to turnover ratio at 2.4, only behind Chance Westry (UAB) and Jordan Mason (Temple). His 111 assists and 3.8 assists per game also placed him eighth in the conference.
Caulker scored in double figures in six of the team's last seven games of the season, including posting his first Division I double-double with 16 points and 11 assists against Memphis on Mar. 1, the fourth-most assists in a single game in ECU history. He made three or more three-pointers in eight contests, including a season-best five against Tulsa on Mar. 5, finishing the year shooting 32.5 percent from behind the arc.
The Virginia native played two years at the junior college level, most recently averaging 13.4 points, 4.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game at Eastern Florida State, where he earned All-FCSAA Team honors and helped lead the Titans to an overall 23-7 record and a quarterfinal appearance in the FCSAA Men's Basketball Championship. He spent his freshman season at Northern Virginia CC, where he averaged 23.8 points and 4.5 assists in 23 games played.
A graduate of Bishop O'Connell HS, Caulker scored over 1,000 career points and finished his career shooting 47 percent from three.
