MIAMI – The FIU women's tennis program earned 2026 ITA All-Academic Team honors, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced Monday afternoon. The award recognizes programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.20 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.

In addition to the team honor, Katerina Mandelikova, Vittoria Baccino, Jelena Vico, Maria Lucia Araoz-Gosn and Aleksandra Simeva were named ITA Scholar-Athletes after earning a GPA of at least 3.50 during the 2025-26 academic year.

The Panthers posted an impressive 3.71 team GPA, with Mandelikova, Baccino, Viktorie Hazmukova, Vico, Araoz-Gosn and Simeva all contributing to the team's academic success. The All-Academic Team recognition comes after another strong year in the classroom.

Mandelikova, a double major in Business Analytics and International Business, recorded a 3.80 cumulative GPA.

Baccino, a Sport and Exercise Science major, posted a 3.87 cumulative GPA.

Vico, a Computer Engineering major, maintained a 3.92 cumulative GPA.
