2008-09 (Junior): Enjoyed another successful season in both singles and doubles, notching 16 singles victories and 15 doubles wins... Named to the Sun Belt All-Conference team in Doubles with partner Liset Brito...Third on the team in singles victories...Compiled 10 consecutive single victories from 3/2-4/11...Defeated Taylor Marable of Princeton in the first round of the NCAA Coral Gables Regional...Accumulated an 11-1 record at No. 5 singles...Teamed with Liset Brito to defeat No. 21 Kristi Boxx and Karen Nijssen of Ole Miss, 9-7, during the ITA Kickoff Weekend...Partnered with Maria Spenceley to upset No. 67 Lauren Holton and Victoria Krook of North Florida...Had nine straight doubles victories with Maria Spenceley...Posted a 2-3 record versus nationally ranked opponents.

2007-08 (Sophomore): Excelled in both singles and doubles, picking up 18 total singles victories, which ranked second best on the team...Won 14 dual matches including a string of 10 straight from March 15-April 19...Recorded a 13-6 mark playing out of the fifth and sixth flights...Her three-set victory over Tiffany Clifford at No. 4 was instrumental in FIU's 4-3 upset victory over No. 34 Texas A&M...Lost in straight sets to Fresno State's No. 77-ranked Tinesta Rowe in her only match of the year against a ranked opponent...Won two of three matches played at the Sun Belt Conference Championships...An outstanding doubles player who was preseason ranked at No. 41 with Egle Petrauskaite and along with Liset Brito, was nationally ranked three times during the season...Teamed with Brito for an 8-4 win against Arizona State's Laila and Nadia Abdala who at the time were ranked No. 11 nationally...Later, teamed with Petrauskaite and beat No. 60-ranked Tiffany Clifford and Christi Liles of Texas A&M...Won strings of eight and five dual doubles matches over the course of the spring season and went 9-3 from the No. 1 position, playing with three different partners...Reached the bracket finals of the Seminole Fall Classic...Ended the season earning All-Sun Belt Conference in doubles...Partnered with Maria Spenceley for a 9-8 (7-2) win the deciding doubles match against Denver in the Sun Belt Tournament championship match...Ranks among the FIU all-time career leaders in both singles and doubles.

2006-07 (Freshman): Finished the campaign with 17 dual match singles victories and her 23 overall wins was tops on the team...Beat Middle Tennessee's Stephanie Parkinson to finish with a perfect 5-0 singles mark at Vanderbilt's fall June Stewart Invitational...Won her first intercollegiate spring match with a straight-sets victory over Princeton's Kristen Scott...Put together a career-best eight-match singles win streak from March 7 through April 13 that included a 6-0, 6-0 shutout over Harvard's Rachel Gottlieb...Compiled an 18-9 dual doubles record including an 11-1 mark at No. 2 with Egle Petrauskaite, which ranked best in the Sun Belt Conference...That duo won its last eight decided matches including a 9-8 victory over USF's Shadisha Robinson and Courtney Vernon, which clinched the doubles point in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Gainesville...Picked up a singles point in that Tournament match with a decisive 6-3, 6-0 victory over Gabriela Duch...Also won a pair of singles points during the Sun Belt Conference Championships that helped the Golden Panthers win a third-consecutive league title...That performance helped propel her to Tournament MVP honors.

Prior to FIU: Three-time state champion, winning doubles in 2004-05 and singles in 2005...Named 2005 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Tennis as voted by a statewide panel of high school tennis coaches and prep media representatives...A 4A state individual finalist in 2006...Helped Sunset to three state team championships...Ranked No. 10 among Girls-16 by the USA Tennis Florida Section (2003).

Personal: A sociology major with plans to go to Pharmacy School after college...Daughter of Ronald and Sonia Castillo.
