SOPHOMORE (2013)
Went 1-3 overall, all in exhibition play … def. Noble/Feathers from Florida Gulf Coast (19-21, 21-12, 15-7) at the Doctors Hospital Surf and Turf Tournament with partner Elly Citron … also competed with Laura Duffy against Pepperdine, High Point and Colorado.

HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year letterwinner in volleyball at Coral Park Senior High School … also lettered in badminton from 2009-11 … led the Lady Rams volleyball squad to a district title in 2010 …  An All-Dade Honorable Mention selection in volleyball … also earned all-county recognition in badminton, and was a GMAC Champion in the sport … an honor roll student, ranking in the top-16 percent of her class … a member of the honors/gifted program.

PERSONAL
Born June 9, 1993 … daughter of Jose and Odalis Diaz … has one sister, Carol, and three brothers, Robert, Omar and Kevin … enjoys reading, listening to music, going to the beach and bike riding … a biology major with aspirations of attending graduate school for veterinary medicine.
