Biography

Before FIU: Nord comes to FIU as a specialist in the freestyle and the butterfly. She has posted short course top times of 27.4 seconds in the 50 Free , 57.9 in the 100 Free, 27.4 in the 50 Fly, and 1:01.6 in the 100 Fly. A two-time Swimmer of the Year for her high school squad, Nord has also been a member of the Sweden Youth National team. The Stockholm native plans to major in business or marketing at FIU.

Horner on Nord:  “Therese will be a great addition to our program.  She is a strong freestyler and butterflyer that will improve our team immediately.”
