As a Senior (2014-15): Swam in four individual events on the year…Earned a total of eight top-three finishes for the season…Represented FIU in three events at the Conference USA Championships, including the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke…Qualified for the finals in the 100 breaststroke at the C-USA Championships, where she placed sixth overall…Set a personal-best time of 56.81 seconds in the 100 butterfly at the Mizzou Invite (11/22)…Joined Silvia Scalia Letizia Bertelli and Jennifer Deist in the 200 Medley Relay at the C-USA Championships, as the team posted a school record time of 1:39.28.

As a Junior (2013-14): Owned the FIU top times in the 50 freestyle (23.31) and the 100 breaststroke (1:02.89)…50 freestyle time came at the C-USA Championships, where she finished seventh in the event…Time of 1:02.89 in the 100 breaststroke also came at the C-USA Championships in the preliminary round…Opened the season with a victory in the 50  and 100 freestyle versus FAU (10/5)…Overall, earned top three finishes on the season…Was also part of FIU’s relay team that posted a school record time of 1:32.09 at the C-USA Championships in the 200 freestyle (Gustafsdottir, Alfani, Deist) and 400 freestyle relay team that earned a mark of 3:20.74 (Gustafsdottir, Alfani, Deist) to post a school record as well…Was also part of FIU’s 200 and 400 medley relay teams that held the top times for the 2013-14 season.

As a Sophomore (2012-13): Named First Team All SBC for the 2012-13 season…Set the school record in the 50 freestyle, posting a time of 23.24 seconds at the SBC Championships (2/27) to earn herself the conference title in that event…Teamed up with Valeriia Popova, Courtney VanderSchaaf and Marina Ribi to set the school record in the 200 freestyle relay at the SBC Championships as well, earning a time of 1:33.99…Was also a school record holder with Ribi, Dani Albright and Johanna Gustafsdottir in the 400 freestyle relay at the SBC Championships, as they posted a time of 3:21.67 to earn the conference title…Also earned titles in the 50 freestyle vs. North Florida (11/3) and Florida Southern (11/10)…Earned a time of 31.07 in the 50 breastroke to earn the victory at the FIU Invite (1/5). 

As a Freshman (2011-12): Swam an individual best time of 23.79 in the 50 freestyle and 51.56 in the 100 freestyle at the SBC Championships (2/22); also plaed a 50 breast stroke time in the 200 IM relay… Teamed with Kayla Derr, Kelly Grace, and Johanna Gustafsdottir and placed third in the 400 freestyle relay with a finals time of 3:24.78 at the SBC Championships (2/22)… Finished in second place in the 200 medley relay (Johanna Gustafsdottir, Chelsie Kidd, and Mariangela Macchiavello) with a finals time of 1:49.77 against FGCU (9/30).

Prior to FIU: Swam for Helsingborg's Simsallskap… The team was named best swim team at Swedish Nationals in 2011 where she placed third in the 100 IM and first place in 200 free relay… Swam for Head Coach Jonas Lundstrom at Filbornaskolan Gymnasium in Helsingborg, Sweden… Competed at the Swedish Nationals and the Swedish Youth Nationals… Ranked in the top 20 in Sweden in the 50 breaststroke and 100 IM.

Personal: Born Sept. 26, 1991 in Helsingborg, Sweden… Daughter of Ingemar and Inger Andersson… Enjoys spending time with friends, watching television and movies and listening to music in her free time… She is majoring in international relations.
