2015-16 (Junior): Appeared in 12 meets for the Panthers…Won two gold medals at the Conference USA Championships, anchoring both the 200 Free and 200 Medley Relays…Part of the school-record-setting team in the 200 Free (1:30.70) with Ruele, Bertelli, Alfani…Also set the season-best time (1:40.60) in the 200 Medley Relay (Ruele, Harris, Bertelli) at the C-USA Championships (2/24)…Registered six top three finishes on the year…Set a personal-best in the 50 Free (22.88) at the C-USA Championships (2/25) – also the third-fastest of the season for FIU…Her time in the 50 Free was a NCAA B qualifying mark…Finished second versus Illinois (11/6) in the 50 Free (24.29)…Notched a third-place finish in the 100 Free (53.94) during the North Florida Tri-Meet (10/3)…Claimed first in the 100 Fly (56.96) at Florida Atlantic (2/6)…Recorded a season-best 54.69 in the finals of the 100 Fly at the C-USA Championships…Had the second-fastest time on the team in the 200 Fly and a personal-best, posting a 2:02:34 during the C-USA Championships (2/27)…Named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll (GPA of 3.00-or-better).
 
2014-15 (Sophomore): Swam in five events for the Panthers on the year…Represented the Panthers in three events at the Conference USA Championships, with her best finish being third in the 50 freestyle, where she posted a career-high time of 23.03 in the finals…Also posted top 10 finishes in the 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly at the Championships…Time of 54.06 seconds in the 100 butterfly in the C-USA Championships finals was a personal-best for her…Placed in the top three 11 times during the season…Earned a victory in the 100 freestyle against Illinois State (11/7), posting a mark of 57.44 seconds…Posted a new personal-record in the 100 backstroke and 200 butterfly at the Mizzou Invite (11/22), posting time s of 57.55 and 2:04.11 respectively. 

2013-14 (Freshman): Swam in the freestyle, backstroke and butterfly for the Panthers…Overall, earned eight top-three finishes on the season…Was also part of FIU’s relay team that posted a school record time of 1:32.09 at the C-USA Championships in the 200 freestyle (Gustafsdottir, Alfani, Deist) and 400 freestyle relay team that earned a mark of 3:20.74 (Gustafsdottir, Alfani, Deist) to post a school record as well… Also took part in FIU’s 200 and 400 medley relay teams that held the top times for the 2013-14 season.

Before FIU: Deist arrived at FIU as a specialist in the freestyle and the butterfly, earning top times of 23.7 in the 50 Free, 52.0 in the 100 Free, and 55.4 in the 100 Fly… Having won the most state medals ever earned (three) for swimming at Edwardsville High School, Deist was the Alton Telegraph Swimmer of the Year in 2012 and is a five-year member of YMCA national team…Chose FIU over East Carolina and Marshall.
