JUNIOR (2014)
Went 17-5 overall (12-3 dual, 5-2 pairs) … competed with Camila Rosado at the No. 5 spot going 4-1 in dual action … also was partnered with Marina Boulanger going 7-1 at the No. 2 position and Jessica Mendoza also at the No. 2 position.
 
SOPHOMORE (2013)
Went 23-6 overall in FIU’s inaugural year … came away with a 9-2 dual record and 14-4 pairs mark … made it all the way to the AVCA National Championships Pair Semifinals in Mobile, Ala. Going 6-1 with partner Jessica Mendoza …. also competed with FIU’s only All-American Kate Stepanova where the duo went 1-1.

PRIOR TO FIU
Attended Specialized School Number 9 in Sumy, Ukraine … earned best player recognition in 2009 for U-19’s in Ukraine … played two seasons at Seminole State College, earning 2010 All-Region recognition and MVP All-Region honors … led the Trojans to their third-straight Region II Championship in 2011 as SSC compiled a record of 35-5 … Was also recruited by LSU, Oregon State and Arizona State … a member of the indoor and sand volleyball teams at FIU.

PERSONAL
Born September 18, 1992 … daughter of Valeriy and Valentina Samoday … has one brother, Valeriy, who has won U-21 world championships in sand volleyball on two occasions … enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music and traveling … plans on majoring in international business.
