Biography

2020 (JUNIOR): Played and started in 16 games in the 2020 season… Averaged .175 at the plate… Collected three runs, seven hits, four RBI, one double, one stolen base and one homerun… Had a .942 fielding percentage with 42 putouts and 23 assists… Her putouts and assists each ranked third on the team... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Did not see action due to medical redshirt. 

2018 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 45 games, started in all 45... Batted to a .248 average with 32 hits and 31 runs batted in... slashed five home runs, four doubles and one triple ... Scored a total of 18 times... Slugged at a .411 clip... Earned 18 walks and was hit by a pitch once... Totaled an on-base percentage of .345... Swiped one bag... Accumulated 104 total putouts and 73 assists...Named to the C-USA All-Conference Freshman Team.

PREP: Metro Player of the Year and All-State Player at two different positions (third and second) leading Rio Rancho to a pair of state championships ... Three times was named All-District, earning one District Player of the Year award ... Batted .554 as a junior and collected 81 stolen bases and 39 home runs in high school ... Named Rio Rancho Athlete of the Year as a senior ... Twice named MVP of the Kristen Griego Memorial Tournament ... Member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Joyce and Geno Gallegos ... Has a younger sister, Brianna ... Plans to major in biology/pre-med.
