2018-19 (Junior): Redshirted her junior year. 

2017-18 (Sophomore): Opened up the season against Miami (9/27) with a third-place finish in the 1000 Free (10:46.01)...Picked up the number two spot against UNF/GSU in the 500 Free (5:13.46)...Against Illinois (11/3) she registered an eighth-place finish in the 100 Free (56.57)...Recorded a win against Georgia Southern in the 500 Freestyle event (5:11.03)...Against FGCU (1/27) she registered a fifth-place finish in the 1000 Free (10:41.38) and a sixth-place finish in the the 500 Free (5:19.17)...Was named to the 2017-18 C-USA Academic Honor Roll list. 

2016-2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 13 meets for the Panthers… At the Conference USA Championship (2/22/17), Whitaker placed ninth in the 1650 Free (16:59.6), 13^th in the 500 Freestyle (4:56.61) and 18^th and personal record in the 200 Freestyle (1:52.67)… She finished second in the 1000 Freestyle against North Florida (11/5/16) and FGCU (1/28/17) with times of 10:39.88 and 10:34.06, respectively.

Prior to FIU: Swam for the Greenwood Swim Club for Coach Don Lemieux…Placed fourth in the mile and seventh in the 800 freestyle at the NASA Junior Nationals in March of 2015…Best times are 4:59.86 in the 500 freestyle, 10:16.29 in the 1000 Freestyle and 17:07.77  in the 1650 Freestyle. 

Personal: Parents- Dru and Ben…Siblings – Dave (brother)…She is majoring in forensic psychology and she loves being by the beach which is one of the reasons why she chose FIU.. and she likes cooking, in particular she loves baking
