Biography

2020 (FRESHMAN): Played in 17 games during her freshman year for FIU while starting in 16… Averaged .306 at the plate, ranking third on the team… Scored five runs, while collecting 15 hits, a team-leading 13 RBI and a double... Hit her first collegiate homer against Western Michigan (3/1/20)… Alonso owned a 1.000 fielding percentage with five putouts and nine assists.

PREP: Attended Canterbury School of Florida in St.Petersburg, Florida… Named State Champion in 2017 while at Canterbury High School... Was named First Team All-Conference.

ACADEMIC/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Major is still undecided. 

PERSONAL: Born in Miami, Florida… Daughter of Andys and Felix Alonso... Has one brother, Jonathan… Besides softball, she enjoys playing volleyball… Favorite movie is The Blindside… Favorite food is steak.
