Biography

2020-21: Played in 24 games, making 21 starts… Scored a career-high 15 points against UTSA (2/5)… Attempted nine shots against Florida Gulf Coast (12/16)… Went 5-7 from the field against Southern Miss (2/19)… Attempted a three pointer against Flagler (11/25) and at WKU (3/1)… Went 5-6 from the charity stripe against UTSA (2/5)…Posted 11 rebounds twice at North Florida (12/12) and against UTSA… Logged a double-double against UNF and UTSA… Tallied four assists at UTEP (2/12)…Notched six blocks against UTSA and at WKU… Recorded three steals against Carver (12/21)… Averaged 6.8 points on 62.3% shooting, 6.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots… Led the team with 60 blocked shots. Closed out his career fourth all-time with 100 career swats.

2019-20 - Came off the bench in 30 games for the Panthers… Averaged 3.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 11.7 minutes played this season… Shot 50.6% from the field and 46.2% from the foul line… Posted 1.3 blocks per appearance to help the Panthers ranks first nationally for blocks (210) and blocks per game (6.6)… Recorded a season-best 10 points twice at Kennesaw State (12/7) and against Florida Memorial (12/19)… Played a career-high 33 minutes at Southern Miss (2/15)… Shot 5-7 from the field at KSU (12/7)… Pulled down nine rebounds at Stetson (12/22)… Blocked four shots at Cleveland State (11/19) and against UNC Wilmington (11/23).

2018-19 (Odessa Community College): Played his sophomore year at Odessa Community College, a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) program in Odessa, Texas ... Averaged 4.6 points-per-game, while also shooting 51.2 percent (64-for-125) from the field ... He averaged 5.9 rebounds-per-outing and an impressive 2.7 blocked-shots-contest in 34 games played ... His blocked shot-per-game average was good enough for a share of eighth in the nation among all NJCAA Division I players ... It was on the glass, and the defensive side of the ball, where Carrigan made his biggest impact ... Grabbed double-figure rebounds six times during his sophomore campaign and rejected 91 shots ... He blocked four-plus shots nine times and five-or-more seven times ... Grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds against Pima Community College, along with 10 points for his first career double-double ... Also rejected a career-high eight shots against Pima.
 
2017-18 (Bunker Hill Community College): Began his junior college career at Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) in Boston, Massachusetts … Averaged 19.6 points, 17.9 rebounds and 7.3 blocked shots-per-game in 14 games for the Bulldogs … His blocks-per-game average was ranked second in the nation … Shot 55.2 percent from the field during his time at BHCC … Scored double figures in 13 of the 14 games played and had better than 20 points seven times … Also grabbed double-digit rebounds in all 14 games, and 20-or-more in four outings … Had three double-figure blocked shot games … Had a staggering night logging a 44-point, 24-rebound, 11 blocked shot effort, against Quincy College … Also scored 20 points to go along with 16 rebounds and 17 blocks against Massachusetts Bay Community College.
 
Prep Career: Played his high school basketball at Cambridge Rindge & Latin, the same high school that produced Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame member Patrick Ewing ... Carrigan averaged 12.8 points, 14.1 rebounds and a remarkable 5.5 blocks-per-game (132 total) ... Considered the best shot blocker in the nation coming out of high school, and the subject of a USA Today High School Sports feature in June 2017, credits his time as a volleyball player in high school with his impressive shot-blocking ability ... For his efforts on the court, during his senior season, Carrigan was named the 2017 Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association Mr. Basketball, and to the 2017 USA Today American Family Insurance All-USA Massachusetts Boys Basketball First Team, among several other honors.
