As a Junior (2007-08): Third-team All-Sun Belt Conference selection who ranked 15th in overall league scoring (13.3 ppg) and fifth in rebounding (6.8 rpg)...recorded even-better marks against SBC opponents with 14.3 ppg and 7.3 rpg...ranked first in team scoring, rebounding and minutes played (32.2 mpg)...finished second with 56 assists and 26 steals...became the 53rd Golden Panther to score at least 300 points in a single season and his 776 points over two years ranks 13th on FIU’s all-time career list...enjoyed a career night against Louisiana-Monroe (1/19), tying the FIU Arena record for points by an FIU player with 34, while collecting 13 rebounds for his second of four double-doubles on the year...recorded 22 games scoring double-digit points and had 20 games with five-or-more rebounds...twice had as many as five 3-pointers in a game: vs. ULM and at Troy (2/23)...dished out a career-high five assists at UALR (12/15) and again in the SBC Tournament first round at Florida Atlantic...tied his career mark with three steals, twice, vs. Florida Atlantic (1/5) and WKU (1/12).

As a Sophomore (2006-07): Finished the year with 389 over 28 games...scored double figures 22 times and put up at least 20 points in eight of the year’s last 17 games...recorded his first career double-double with 20 points/10 rebounds, including the game-winning 3-pointer, at Troy (12/17) and replicated that vs. Palm Beach Atlantic (24 pts/14 rebounds on 12/22) and UL Lafayette (23 pts/13rebounds on 1/6)...hit his second game winner of the year on a 3-pointer with 9.2 seconds remaining in a win over North Texas (1/18) and then connected on another with 9.4 seconds left to beat Middle Tennessee (2/15), 69-67...tied his season-high 24 points in a 69-67 win over South Alabama (2/18), which stopped the Jaguars’ 13-game win streak...averaged double-digit scoring against all 12 Sun Belt Conference opponents...also led the squad in rebounds (166) and blocked shots (14) while placing third in minutes played (28.6 per game)...ranked among the SBC’s top-20 in scoring (16th), rebounding (11th) and offensive rebounds (11th) and his .789 (46 of 59) free-throw average against league opponents was seventh highest.

University of Kansas (2004-05): A true perimeter player whose playing time and confidence increased until a groin injury slowed his progress...considered KU’s best 3-point threat...averaged 4.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 23 games for the Jayhawks...scored a season high of 14 points in a victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee...against Georgia Tech on New Years Day, hit a 3-pointer with just over a minute left in overtime, that cut a four-point deficit to one, helping the Jayhawks come from behind to win...played as a wing and at times as a forward when KU played with a "small" lineup.

Prep and Personal: Attended St. Benedict’s in Newark, N.J., for two seasons after arriving from Puerto Rico...coached by Dan Hurley and Jim Salmon...an outstanding outside shooter with the ability to run in a transition game...MVP of Slam Dunk to the Beach and earned all-tournament honors at the Great Florida Shootout...in the summer of 2004, was MVP of the Southern Invitational and averaged 10.1 points at the adidas ABCD camp...as a prep senior, rated No. 3 in the state by NJ Hoops, averaging 16.8 points and nine rebounds per game...rated as the 65th-best high school player in the country by Rivals.com...originally signed a national letter of intent with Texas-El Paso but was released from that obligation after head coach Billy Gillispie left the program for Texas A&M...born May 6, 1985, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico...son of Carlos Galindo and Socorro Rodriguez...graduated last spring with a degree in sports management.
