2020 (SOPHOMORE): Made four appearances in the circle for FIU…Pitched 2.1 innings and struck out three batters... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in three games for the Panthers in the circle...Put in 7.1 innings of work while striking out two batters...Posted a 4.91 ERA on the season.

ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Currently a Biology Major at FIU…Volunteered with Challengers baseball with special needs children...Lawson volunteered with Challengers Softball led by Coach Feldman & Coach Harrell as she played and helped children on the field...Also volunteered with Florida Fire-Feldman which is now known as Florida Impact.
 
PREP: Graduated from Bloomingdale HS... Lawson holds the Bloomingdale School strike out record with 410 Strikeouts/ 244 IP/ Opponent BA of .163... In 2018, Lawson was All County Western Conference Second Team Pitcher and the Tampa Bay Times Pitcher...She owned 89 strikeouts in 57 innings of work...In 2017, she was ranked fifth by the Max Prep National Strike Out Pitcher with 230 strikes out in 128.2 innings pitched...Also made Western Conference Pitcher Year, All County 1st Team Pitcher Year, Tampa Bay Times Pitcher, Bloomingdale High School Pitcher Year, MVP Softball Invitational Record with 20 Strike Outs in 1 game and 230 Strike Outs in 128.2 IP with an ERA 1of 1.20 on the year...In 2016, Lawson owned 91 strikeouts in 56.1 innings pitched with an opponent batting average of .242...She posted an average of .310 with nine stolen bases and an on base percentage of .356...In 2015, she was part of the high school softball team that won the Newsome High School 8A State Championship...Lawson also played club ball for the Tampa Mustangs who were crowned the Bell 2017 ASA Florida State Champions.
