FIU Athletics

2017 (Junior) - Made 41 starts and 15 appearances off the bench, including twice at the NCAA Regionals, rotating in the outfield as a late defensive substitution... Batted .214 and scored 15 runs... Second on the team with nine sacrifice bunts and two bunts for hits... Perfect in the outfield defensively in 42 chances... Produced four outfield assists (team was 4-0 in those games), including one in the lone Postseason win, versus Florida A&M, on 5/20... Batted .291 with the bases empty and reached as the leadoff hitter at a .321 clip.

Prior to FIU - Finished her Pima Community College career with a .388 average, 50 stolen bases and 117 runs scored in two seasons... Pima CC also sent former Panther Nicole Rascon, the daughter of three-year Aztecs Assistant Coach Tony Rascon, from Arizona to Miami.

2016 (Sophomore, at Pima Community College) - Part of a 46-14 Aztecs squad that finished second in the Region I, DIvision II Tournament... Posted a .407 in a team-high 209 at-bats in 64 games played... Led team with 26 stolen bases, third-most in the league, and contributed 33 RBI, finishing third on the team with 85 hits.

2015 (Freshman, at Pima Community College) - Aztecs posted a 47-19-1 record and a second-place finish in the Region I, DIvision II Tournament... Batted .367, slugging at .412 and posted a .472 on-base percentage in a team-best 59 games played and 25 stolen bases... Her 57 runs scored were second-most on the squad by one...

Prep - Played for Mountain View High for two years before transferring to Tucson High Magnet School  for her final two years... Played softball four years through the move at both schools... Played basketball for two seasons at Mountain View... Named Best Defensive Player both years on the basketball team... Two-year member of FCA and DECA during prep days

Personal - Daughter of Laura Peralta... Has four younger siblings... Kristian, Luis, Kelli and Santiago... Kristian is a pitcher on the baseball team of Pima CC, while cousins Brianna Blair and Mariella Hernandez played at Eastern Arizona CC and cousin Shane Foreman played baseball at Eastern Arizona and then for Delaware State, into independent baseball as a professional... Uncle Kelly Samorano played baseball at Pima CC, while cousin Adrian Fuentes played baseball professionally in the independent leagues... Plans to major in hospitality management, with an emphasis in event planning.
