As a Junior (2007-08): Ranked second on the team with 21 blocked shots, which was tied for 14th best in the Sun Belt Conference...after missing the season opener with an injury, made his collegiate debut in the second game of the year against Kennesaw State (11/21), putting up a season-best eight points along with six rebounds in 17 minutes...grabbed a career-high eight rebounds (five offensive) coming off the bench versus Miami (12/8)...in his first start of the season, scored two points, grabbed two rebounds and had two blocks at Middle Tennessee (12/18)...recorded a career-high two steals and grabbed three rebounds in 11 minutes at Kentucky (12/31)...contributed seven points and seven rebounds with a blocked shot in the Sun Belt Conference victory over New Orleans (1/27)...twice had as many as three blocks in a game...led FIU with five rebounds and had a pair of assists and a steal in the opening round of the Sun Belt Tournament at Florida Atlantic (3/5).
Southeastern C.C. (2005-07): Showed continued progress over a pair of junior college seasons...averaged six points and four rebounds as a freshman for head coach Tim Walsh and became one of the top shot blockers in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference...between his freshman and sophomore campaigns, competed in the prestigious ICCAC Impact Sports Juco Jamboree at the University of Iowa against 200 other players and established himself as a "Top Prospect" among players his size according to Hoopmasters.com...averaged nearly a block-and-a-half per game as a sophomore...named the team’s "Best Student-Athlete of the Year" as both a freshman and sophomore.
