Freshman Year (2012-13):
 
- Redshirted during his freshman campaign.
- Appeared in two early-season contests before being redshirted.
- Grabbed first-career rebound versus Arkansas State (11/29).
- Made FIU debut at Boston College (11/11).
 
Prep and Personal:
 
- Averaged 28.4 points-per-game, 6.1 assists-per-game, 7.2 rebounds-per-game and 2.9 steals-per-game during his senior season with the Hurricanes.
- Led Marion County in scoring, assists and steals during the 2011-12 season.
- As a senior, earned FABC Class 6A all-state honors, while being named the Ocala Star-Banner Player of the Year (second-straight year).
- During his junior season, Averaged 20.9 points-per-game and 3.3 steals-per-contest to lead Lake Weir to a 23-6 mark and the team’s first district title in 36 years.
- Born on March 14, 1994 in Belleview, Fla.
- Full name is Diamante Lewis…Son of Richard and Stacey Lewis.
- Has two siblings, Angelo and Ricardo.
- Recruited by UCF, USF, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville and Youngstown State.
- Would like to coach following graduations from FIU.
- Is majoring in recreations and sports management.
