Biography

2019-20: Played in 31 games, making 29 starts… Named Preseason All-Conference USA and to the All-Conference USA Second Team… Received C-USA Player of the Week honors once (1/6)… Led the team with 15.4 points per outing while placing second on the squad with 28.2 minutes per contest …. In league play only, logged 14.7 points per game while shooting 40.3% from the field and 37.8% from three… Shot 42.5% from the field and 36.3% from beyond the arc…  Posted a 60.9 free-throw percentage… Netted a season-best 26 points and logged nine rebounds against UTSA (1/4), going 9-22 from the field and 2-9 from beyond the arc during his 36 minutes played… Tallied four steals at Southern Miss (2/15), at Kennesaw State (12/7), and at Louisiana Tech (2/13)

2018-19: Played in 33 of FIU’s 34 games during his first year in the Blue and Gold … Was second on the team – and 12th in Conference USA (C-USA) – in scoring, averaging 15.3 points, and was also second on the team in rebounding, grabbing 5.1 boards-per-outing … Shot 49.3 percent (179-for-363) from the field, good enough for 10th in C-USA, while also hitting 50 percent-or-better 18 times, and 60 percent-or-more in eight games … Netted double figures in the scoring column in 27 of the 33 games he played in, including 20-or-more points nine times … Poured in a career – and game-high – 29 points at Texas State (3/23), in the first round of the Collegeinsider.com Tournament, on 10-of-16 (62.5 percent) shooting from the field, including 4-of-5 (80.0 percent) from behind the three-point arc, and 5-for-6 (83.3 percent) from the free-throw line … The win against Texas State was the Panthers’ first-ever postseason victory … Had impressive back-to-back games at UTEP (2/9) and Rice (2/14) where he scored 26 and 25 points, respectively, while shooting 60.0 percent (16-for-30) from the field, 44.4 percent (4-for-9) from behind the three-point arc, and 15-for-19 (78.9 percent) from the free-throw line, in the two games …  Also had 23 points in the season-opener against Webber International (11/7) and at Marshall (1/19) … Grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds, along with 17 points, en route to his first career double-double with the Panthers against Columbia (11/17) … Fell one rebound shy of his second double-double with 11 points and nine boards at WKU (1/17) … Recorded a career-best five assists against North Texas (3/9), in the regular season finale, and a career-high four steals, three times at Florida Gulf Coast (11/28), North Florida (12/13) and Florida Memorial (12/20).

2017-18: Did not play.
 
2016-17 (Pratt Community College): Averaged 22.0 points and 6.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists-per-game at Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kansas ... Played in 31 games with 26 starts ... Shot an impressive 50.7 percent from the field and 74.5 percent from the free-throw line in his one season with the Beavers ... Poured in 20-or-more points in 17 games, and better than 30 points seven times ... Dropped a career-high 43 points against Colby Community College, en route to National Junior College Athletic Association Player of the Week honors, and then followed that up with 33 in the next game against Garden City Community College ... Also had back-to-back 30-point nights against Dodge City Community College (31) and Hutchinson Community College (30) ... For his efforts, Andrews was named First Team All-Jayhawk Conference as well as First Team All-Region ... Andrews also won Jayhawk conference newcomer of the year.
