2018-19 (Senior Year): Was named to the Conference USA (C-USA) Commissioner’s Honor Roll, recognizing students with a 3.0 grade-point-average (GPA) or better, and the C-USA Academic Medal, given to student-athletes with a 3.75 GPA or better … In addition, Dieng was the men’s basketball recipient of the prestigious C-USA Jim Castañeda Postgraduate Scholarship … Saw time in all 34 games for FIU during his senior season, getting the starting nod 15 times … Averaged 2.2 points-per-game and 2.4 rebounds-per-contest … Also shot 55.3 percent (26-for-47) from the field on the year … Saved the best offensive game of his collegiate career for the season finale against Wisconsin Green Bay, in the second round of the Collegeinsider.com Tournament, when he scored a career-high 11 points on a perfect 3-for-3 shooting night from the field and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line against the Phoenix … Surpassed his previous career-best of eight points set against North Florida (12/13) earlier in the season to go along with his season high of six rebounds … Also grabbed five rebounds three times, against Ave Maria (11/23), at Florida Atlantic (2/23), and at Texas State (3/23) in the Collegeinsider.com Tournament first round … Also equaled his career-best of two blocks at Florida Gulf Coast (11/28).   

2017-18 (Junior Year): Was named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, recognizing student-athletes with a 3.0 grade point average or better … Played in 22 games for the Panthers, getting the starting nod 19 times … Averaged 1.2 points and 2.1 rebounds-per-game for FIU in 9.6 minutes-per-contest … Had his best game, offensively, in the second outing of the year, with seven points on 3-for-4 (75.0 percent) shooting from the field and 1-for-3 from the charity stripe, against Stetson (11/12) … Also netted four points in three other games, against Florida Atlantic (12/30), at UTSA (1/11), and at WKU (2/10) … Along with his four points against FAU, Dieng also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds … Had four multi-blocked shot games, rejecting two shots against South Alabama (12/2), at USF (12/11), Middle Tennessee (1/4), and Charlotte (1/20). 

2016-17 (Sophomore Year at Sheridan College): Played his sophomore season at Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming, where he averaged 8.8 points- and 6.0 rebounds-per-game in 32 games played for the Generals … He finished the season 75^th in the nation in offensive rebounds (86) and 87^th in field goal percentage (57.7 percent) … Of his 32 games with Sheridan, Dieng scored in double figures 13 times, including 20-or-more points twice, and posted two double-doubles … Poured in 21 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds against Nueta Hidatsa Technical College (12/10) and recorded a 20-point, 12-rebound effort against Little Big Horn College (2/15) … Also grabbed 13 rebounds against Dakota College (11/26) and 10 rebounds against Northwest Community College (2/25).
 
2015-16 (Freshman Year at New Mexico Junior College) Dieng started his collegiate career in the United States at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, New Mexico, during the 2015-16 season, and helped to guide the Thunderbirds to a 21-10 record and an 11-5 conference ledger … In 29 games played Dieng averaged 4.5 points-per-game and 5.2 rebounds-per-contest … Scored double figures in four games and grabbed double-digit rebounds three times … Recorded double-doubles in two games.

Prep Career: Dieng played his high school basketball at Canarias Basketball Academy in Spain.

Personal: Hopes to pursue a professional basketball career when his time at FIU is over … Is currently undecided about his major.
