As a Junior (2006-07): Played in 28 games, 20 of those as starting point guard...led the team with 81 assists and his 2.89 assists per game was 15th best in the Sun Belt... got better and better as the season progressed and possibly played his best game in the opening round of the SBC Tournament with 11 assists against only three turnovers...scored double-figures in four of the last nine games of the year and dished out 33 assists over that same span...posted a career-high 16 points with three rebounds, two assists and no turnovers in a win over Louisiana-Lafayette (2/22)...one game prior, collected career-highs of three 3-pointers, six rebounds and five steals while playing all 40 minutes in the upset win over South Alabama (2/18) that snapped the Jaguars’ season-best 13-game win streak...picked up blocked shots against Western Illinois (11/18) and at #12/13 Wisconsin (12/2) and Troy (12/17)...finished third on the squad with 26 steals...his .689 free-throw average ranked second on the team among players with 50-or-more attempts.
Prep and Personal Data: Led Bevill to the semifinals of the 2006 Alabama State Junior College Tournament...averaged 14.4 points over 24 games and an even-more impressive seven assists as a sophomore, which placed him among the junior college national top-10...season high was a 31-point performance against Wallace State-Hanceville (2/13/06) and stepped up late in the year to average 19.3 ppg over the last four games...converted free throws at a 71.1-percent clip (118 of 166) as a sophomore...all-state, all-region and a first-team all-conference selection in 2006...an Alabama all-star selection and team Most Valuable Player...competed as a freshman at Southeastern Illinois C.C. where he was a starter and ranked third in assists nationally...played three seasons of high school basketball at Apollo High School before moving on to the nationally-recognized Oak Hill (Va.)
