2019-20: Started all 32 games for the Panthers… Named All-Conference USA Second Team, All-Conference USA Defensive Team, and was the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year… Averaged 13.0 points in 27.3 minutes per game… Shot 67.1% from the field, 33.3% from three and 69.5% from the foul line… Field-goal percentage ranked third nationally… Led the nation with 122 total blocked shots and 3.81 swats per outing… Averaged 8.1 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.8 steals per contest… Posted a career-high 22 points against Eastern Kentucky (11/22) and WKU (2/1)… Blocked eight shots against Ave Maria (11/8) and at Stetson (12/22)… Logged 18 rebounds against Kaiser (11/26)… Tallied three assists against Florida Atlantic (2/5)… Recorded three assists in the season opener at Mississippi State (11/5)… Recorded three assists in the season opener at Mississippi State (11/5)… Named C-USA Player of the Week once (11/25).

2018-19: Was named to the Conference USA (C-USA) Commissioner’s Honor Roll, recognizing students with a 3.0 grade-point-average (GPA) or better … Established himself as one of the top big men in C-USA and one of the most dangerous defensive players in the country … Averaged 8.3 points-per-game – sixth on the team – in 31 games played, including 19 starts, all of which came in the last 20 games of the season … Made his real impact on the glass and on the defensive side of the ball … Averaged 8.5 rebounds-per-game which was tops on the team and third in C-USA … Also pulled down 100 offensive rebounds on the year for an average of 3.2 per-outing which was first in Conference USA and 28th in the nation … Led C-USA in blocked shots, rejecting 3.1 shots-per-contest, which was also good enough for fourth in the nation … Recorded 11 games with four-or-more blocked shots … He finished 2018-19 with 96 blocks on the year, which is second all-time in FIU history for a single season, and with 129 career blocks which is second all-time in school history … For his efforts, defensively, Osaghae was tabbed a C-USA All-Defensive Team selection … Recorded 13 double-figure scoring games, and 12 double-figure rebounding games on the year, and logged seven double-double performances with five of the seven coming against C-USA foes … Shot 59.5 percent (100-for-168) from the field on the year, and also shot better than 50 percent from the floor in 21 games, and 70 percent-or-better nine times … His field goal shooting percentage was fourth in C-USA … Scored a career-high 19 points while also grabbing 11 rebounds at Marshall (3/5) … Logged a career-high 15 rebounds in identical 10-point, 15-rebound affairs against Milwaukee (11/13) and at Marshall (1/19) … Also had 16 points and 10 boards at WKU (1/17) … Set his original career-high for points earlier in the season with an 18-point effort against North Florida (12/13) … Had a career-high seven rejections against Charlotte (1/10), and six blocks, four times; against Old Dominion (1/12), Louisiana Tech (2/2), Rice (2/14) and North Texas (3/13) in the Conference USA Tournament.  Â

2017-18: Was named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, recognizing student-athletes with a 3.0 grade point average or better … A two-year walk-on, Osaghae enjoyed a solid 2017-18 campaign after seeing limited action as a freshman … Averaged 3.3 points and 3.3 rebounds-per-game, to go along with 1.2 blocked shots-per-outing which was good enough for eighth in Conference USA … Shot 62.7 percent (32-for-51) from the field on the year … Played in 27 of FIU’s 32 games, getting one start, with that coming at WKU (2/10) … Scored in 15 of his final 16 games after being scoreless in seven of his first 11 … Scored double figures in three games, netting 10 points in each of the outings, at UTSA (1/11), against Southern Miss (2/1), and North Texas (2/22) … Also, against UTSA, “The Big O” chipped in career-highs in rebounds (7) and blocked shots (5), with his five rejections the most since former Panther Adrian Diaz swatted a school single-game record 13 against UAB on March 7, 2015 … Had five blocked shots four games later at Rice (1/25) … Recorded a career-high two steals, in the final two games of the season at Old Dominion (3/3) and against Southern Miss (3/7) in the Conference USA Tournament first round.  Â

2016-17: Saw limited action for FIU as he only played in four games, which included the last three games of the season … Established all of his career highs against UTEP (2/25), playing eight minutes and scoring five points on 2-of-3 (66.7 percent) shooting from the field and 1-of-2 (50.0 percent) from the free-throw line … Also grabbed three rebounds and had one blocked shot against the Miners.

Prep Career: Played his high school basketball at Southridge Senior High School in Miami while attending Miami’s Robert Morgan High School ... Helped guide the Spartans to a 15-7 record during his senior season at Southridge.
