As a Junior (2007-08): Possibly the most proficient big man in the history of FIU basketball...a third-team All-Sun Belt Conference performer who blocked a school-record 60 shots, which ranks sixth on the all-time career list, and led the conference with an average 2.07 blocks per game...finished fifth in the Sun Belt and 60th nationally in field-goal percentage (.539), seventh in rebounds (6.1), fourth in offensive rebounds (2.52) and 19th in scoring (12.5)...recorded a pair of double-doubles on the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds at Kentucky (12/31) and 16 points and 10 rebounds vs. Troy (1/9)...became the 52nd Golden Panther to score 300-or-more points in a single season, finishing with 363 total points on the year...came up with a game-high 18 points on 7-for-7 shooting from the floor at UALR (12/15)...scored his career high of 21 points against nationally-recognized George Mason (12/21)...recorded a team-high 16 points in his FIU debut against Florida Tech (11/12) with seven rebounds and a pair of blocked shots...fell short on his bid for a double-double against Kennesaw State (11/21) with 18 points, on 9-of-12 shooting from the field, and eight rebounds...recorded five blocked shots against Miami (12/8) besting the ACC’s active career-leading shot blocker, Anthony King, 5-0...recorded 14 points, eight rebounds and three more blocked shots in 28 minutes at South Alabama (1/16)...tallied 15 points with eight rebounds and three blocks vs. Louisiana-Monroe (1/19)...despite early foul trouble, finished with a game-high 18 points, with seven rebounds and a blocked shot at North Texas (2/2)...led FIU with 18 points and four blocks in the opening round of the Sun Belt Tournament at Florida Atlantic (3/5).
Pepperdine University (2004-06): Member of the 2004-05 West Coast Conference All-Freshman team...appeared in 30 games as a freshman and averaged four points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots...ranked second in the WCC in blocked shots behind Gonzaga’s Ronny Turiaf, who currently plays with the Los Angeles Lakers...scored a career high 15 points with seven rebounds and a blocked shot against Loyola Marymount in the opening round of the 2005 conference tournament...suffered a broken bone in his left foot and missed the first 11 games of his sophomore campaign...shot 45.7-percent from the field and 84.2-percent from the foul line in that injury-shortened season while averaging five points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game.
