Expected to provide quality minutes on the floor as well as senior leadership... Will see time at power forward but will also be allowed to use his strength as an outside shooter... Possible three-point threat.

As a Junior (2003-04): One of only four players to see action in all 27 games played...started 14 games on the year, including the last nine...averaged 19.1 minutes per contest...led the squad with a 89.7-percent free throw percentage, converting 26-of-29 attempts and ranked second in field goal percentage (.443)...grabbed a team-high seven rebounds in the season opener vs. Howard (11/21)...had a blocked shot in four consecutive Sun Belt Conference games (2/7-2/21)...recorded a career-high three assists in the overtime win over New Orleans (2/21)...top four scoring games of the season all came against league foes...twice, scored nine points in games at Denver (1/17) and Middle Tennessee (3/1).

Pensacola C.C. (2001-03): Played his freshman season for Pirates coach Paul Swanson...14 points, eight rebounds and four assists, earning honorable mention All-Panhandle Conference honors...earned inclusion on the 2002 Dean’s List and National Dean’s List...selected FIU over interest shown by South Florida, Texas Tech, Rhode Island, George Washington and Long Beach State.

Prep and Personal Data: Earned a number of honors while playing four years of basketball in high school for coach Bill Coleman...honorable mention All-Broward County performer as a freshman and sophomore and second-team all-county as a junior and senior...averaged double digits in both scoring and rebounding his final three prep seasons including 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists as a senior...team MVP in 2000 and ’01...helped the Patriots to three district championship titles...voted a junior class senator...also played AAU basketball with the Coast to Coast program...born February 24, 1982, in Manhattan, N.Y....son of Vincent and Phyllis Gale...Sports Management major.
