FIU Athletics

2020 (SOPHOMORE): Played and started in all 17 games this season…Led the team at the plate with a .375 average… Scored eight runs which ranked second on the team…Earned a team-leading 21 hits and nine stolen bases… Collected four RBI, a double and a homerun… The sophomore also had a .407 on-base percentage… In the outfield, Johns owned a .973 fielding percentage with 35 putouts and one assist… Her nine stolen bases ranked sixth in C-USA... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (FRESHMAN): Played in 48 games during her freshman year for the Panthers while starting in 46...Posted a .297 batting average on the season which ranks second on the team...Scored 24 runs (ranks third on the team), while collecting 38 hits, eight RBIs, a double, a triple and 14 stolen bases...In the outfield, had a .985 fielding percentage with 62 putouts and three assists...The freshman made the 2019 C-USA All-Freshman Team...Her .419 batting average in conference games ranks second and first among C-USA freshman...Owns a .528 on base percentage in conference games, ranking third and first among conference freshman. 

COMMUNITY SERVICE/ACADEMICS: She is currently undecided on her major at FIU.
 
PREP: In her senior year at Sarasota HS had a .444 average, .506 on-base percentage with 20 runs scored and 10 stolen bases...during her junior year played in 11 games while posting 10 run and 12 hits with a .387 average...as a sophomore with the sailors she played in 25 and scored 24 runs, 13 RBI and one homerun...named Sarasota athlete of the week in March 2017.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jenna and Ryan Johns…Has two younger siblings named Abbey and Ryan…Born and raised in Sarasota, Florida…Graduated from Sarasota High school in 2018… Her parents have been her biggest influence in her career…Favorite place in Miami is South Beach.
