Biography

2022 (Sophomore): Saw action in 10 games and made two starts…scored one run and made five plate appearances… was a 2022 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll member.

2021: Did not see any game action.

2020 (Freshman): Did not see action... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

PREP: Attended Doral Academy in Doral, Florida.. Was a four time District Champ... Named to the Flo-Softball All-American Watch List.

ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Majoring in biology at FIU.

PERSONAL:  Born and raised in Miami, Florida… Daughter of Rolando and Leslie Varela… Has one brother, Jose Varela, who plays baseball for FIU… Besides softball she like to play soccer and volleyball… Favorite movie is Inception.
