Biography

Junior – 2013: Appeared in 46 games, starting 44 at both third base and right field… Hit .238 (30-for-126) with seven RBI, 15 runs scored and five stolen bases… Hit safely in four of first five games (4-for-12)… Best offensive performance came against Troy on 5/9 (3-for-3, run, walk)… Compiled nine multi-hit games (eight games with two hits, one game with three hits)… Hit safely in eight of 10 games from 3/29-4/27 (12-for-34)… Hit .333 (6-for-18) against left-handed pitchers… In 59 opportunities, advanced runners on base 29 times (.492 percentage)… Went 2-for-3 with three RBI in a 6-3 victory at North Florida on 3/13… Turned in a 4-for-7 performance in the 2013 Sun Belt Conference Tournament in two games against Louisiana and Troy.

Sophomore – 2012 (Arizona State): Played in 18 games, tallying three runs scored – all in Pac-12 play… Concluded the season with a .333 on-base percentage.

Freshman – 2011 (Arizona State): Appeared in 12 games in her first season as a Sun Devil, recording two runs and two RBIs... Also contributed in the field, with five assists and one put-out for a .857 fielding percentage.

High School: A four-year letterwinner for the Lions, Breanna also captained Mountain Ridge her senior season… In her list of awards is a two-time Honorable Mention, two-time All-Region selection, Defensive Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year… A natural leader, Kaye helped Mountain Ridge to three top- 10 state finishes, with their best finish coming in her senior year with a sixth-place finish.

Personal: Born to Randy and Leesa Kaye…  Majoring in Sports and Fitness… Plans to attend nursing school, specializing in the neonatal department… She has one sister, Taylor and one brother, Christian… Full name is Breanna Lenae Kaye… Enjoys shopping, listening to music, painting her nails, exercising and writing.
