2019 (Senior) - Appeared in 37 games during her senior season while starting in 27...Collected 15 hits, 10 RBIs (tied fourth on the team), five runs, five doubles (ranks third on the team) and a homer while averaging .200 on the season...The homerun at UTEP (5/4/19) marks the first of her college career...In the field, Kennedy owns 115 putouts (ranks third on the team) and six assists while sporting a .984 fielding percentage.
2018 (Junior) - Appeared in 2 games...Lone hit for the season came in a road-game with at FGCU on April 4 scoring a run and a double as a pinch hitter.
2017 (Sophomore) - Appeared in 12 games, making four starts (all in the outfield)... Lone hit for the season came in neutral-site win against Florida A&M, 2/17... scored a run and stole a base in first appearance off the bench, as a pinch hitter and later defensive substitute against Memphis, 2/11.
2016 (Freshman) - Appeared in 38 games, making 30 starts, in the outfield, at first base and as the designated player... Scored one run in only appearance as a pinch runner, also stealing a base in that substitution in game two of the home doubleheader against Notre Dame, 3/9... Tied for the team high with a pair of pinch hits... Also scored one run, drew one walk and drive in one run as a pinch hitter... Collected six hits, scored four runs and drew six walks in 30 at bats as an outfielder... Collected season highs of two runs, two RBI and three hits, including her lone home run of the season in her second game of the season, a home win over Illinois in the opening tournament of the season, 2/13... She collected a pair of RBI in her first two games, against St. John's and Illinois on 2/13... One of three players to hit for the season cycle (hit at least one double, one triple and one home run)... Had one outfield assist (and 18 putouts, with on errors), but recorded 52 putouts as a first baseman, and a pair of assists when at that position.
Prep - Three-sport athlete for the Knights (softball: six years, volleyball and basketball: five years)... In softball, earned All-Metro Player of the Year and the Alabama State Tournament MVP in 2013-14... Three-time All-State outfielder... Won the SIlver Slugger award in 2012 and 2013... Her Macon East Academy team was a three-time State Champion in 3A (2012-14) and won the 2A Championship in 2015... An excellent volleyball student-athlete, she was named to the state All-Tournament Team three times (2012-14), as well as the 2A Region MVP in 2013... Macon East won State Championships from 2011-14... Also played five years for the basketball team
Personal - Daughter of Shannon and Terry Kennedy... Has two sisters, an older sister, Ashlyn, and a younger sister, Madisyn... Major is recreational therapy.
