Junior - 2008: Started 26 games as a catcher ... Had nine multi hit games ... Was fourth on the team in home runs with nine ... Prior to FIU - Florida Christian HIgh School: Named the Miami Herald Hitter of the Year in 2005 ... Earned First Team All-County honors from 2001-2005 and all-state recognition from 2003 to 2005 ... Named Miami Herald Pitcher of The Year in 2003.
