2020 (SENIOR): Miami native Rivera played and started in all 17 games in the 2020 season… At the plate, the senior posted a .280 average with a team-leading nine runs and three doubles… Rivera ranked second in RBI with 10 and fourth in hits with 14… The senior also collected two stolen bases… The Panther shortstop had a .993 fielding percentage with 29 putouts and a team-leading 27 assists... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (JUNIOR): Appeared and started in all 51 games this season...Batted a .261 average, ranking fourth on the team with 41 hits (ranks third on the team), 27 RBIs (second most on the team) and 15 runs (tied fourth on the team)...Collected six doubles which ranks second on the team and a team-leading five home runs...The shortstop has tallied 96 putouts (ranks fourth on the team) and a team-leading 87 assists...Sports a .920 fielding percentage...The highlight of her season came in the victory over Marshall (4/13/19) where Rivera hit a walk-off grand slam with four RBIs.

2018 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 47 games, starting all 47 games she appeared in... Batted to a .379 average with three home runs and 22 runs batted in... Tallied three home runs and five doubles... Scored a total of 22 times... Slugged at a .397 clip... Earned 18 walks and was hit by a pitch once... Totaled an on-base percentage of .363... Swiped two bags... Accumulated 91 total putouts.  

2017 (FRESHMAN): of three Panthers to start every game, playing all 61 games as the starting shortstop... Batted mostly sixth in the lineup (48 times)... Second on the team with eight home runs and 26 walks, tying for second with 40 RBI... Fielded at a .990 percentage (197 chances)... Her 24 walks were tied for 10th in Conference USA and her four sacrifice flies were tied for fourth in the league... 40 RBI as tied for seventh in C-USA... Best inning was the fifth, when she hit .318 and drove in 11 of her RBI... One of three players to hit two home runs in a single game for the Panthers all season, she blasted two and drove in a career-high six runs in a 12-1, five-inning victory over Florida A&M, 2/17... One of two players to hit a grand slam for the season, as she delivered in a nine-run fifth inning as FIU beat Fairfield at home in five innings, 10-2 on 3/11... Tied for third on the team with 11 two-out RBI.

PREP: Played four years for the Raiders, earning Rookie of the Year in 2013, Offensive Player of the Year in 2014 & 2015 and Team MVP in 2016... Selected All-Dade County in 2014, 2015 and 2016... Gulliver Prep was the 2013 State Champions, when she hit .325 for the season... Improved to .455 with 27 RBI and 24 runs as a sophomore, to .465, nine home runs and 42 RBI as a junior to a .500 record, with seven homers and 30 RBI in her senior season... Also played for the Miami Wildcats travel team, winning the USSSA World Series in 2013... Earned MVP of the 2010 USSSA World Series in 2010... Worked with the Special Olympics from 2012-2016 with the baseball and softball programs... She coached an eight-and-under softball team in 2014 before umpiring for three fall seasons... Bestowed an American Literature Award in 2014, the Anatomy and Physiology Award in 2015 and the Citizenship Award in 2016

PERSONAL: Daughter of Lourdes Rodriguez-Rivera and Juan Rivera... Has an older sister, Jacquelyn... Her grandfather, Jorge Rodriguez, was a professional baseball pitcher in Cuba in the early 1950's... Plans to major in physical therapy and intends on going on to get a master's degree.
