Biography

2020 (JUNIOR): Played and started in 17 games in the 2020 season… Averaged .340 at the plate, which ranked second on the team…. Collected 17 hits, four runs, three doubles, one triple and four RBI… Her three doubles were tied first on the team and her 17 hits ranked second… Owned a .991 fielding percentage with a team-leading 102 putouts and five assists... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 22 games while starting in 13...Batted .175 with seven hits, seven RBI, a double and two runs...In the field, accumulated 58 putouts and five assist to earn a .984 fielding percentage...Highlight game of the season was against Buffalo as she went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and four runs batted in.

2018 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 37 games, started in 30... Batted to a .218 average with 19 hits and seven runs batted in... Tallied five doubles... Scored a total of 11 times... Slugged at a .264 clip... Earned seven walks and was hit by a pitch once... Totaled an on-base percentage of .284... Swiped two bags... Accumulated 23 total putouts and two assist.

PREP: Continuing a lifetime of softball that has spanned the last 10 years ... Also played soccer and volleyball for the Mustangs of Rancho Verde High ... Named All-League twice, also earning Team MVP twice ... Captured a Defensive MVP in 2016 for the volleyball squad.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Joann and Chuck Whitehead ... Has an older brother, Adam ... Plans to become a physical therapist.
