2022 (Sophomore): Saw action in 31 games, while making 27 starts primarily at catcher…registered four RBI and scored four runs…posted three doubles and stole one base…threw out 5-of-29 potential base stealers and allowed four passed balls… was a 2022 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll member.
 
2021 (Freshman):  Saw action in 22 games, while making 15 starts…posted a .235 batting average and a .703 OPS over a total of 40 plate appearances…tabbed a pair of extra base hits that included a home run and a double… was a 2021 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll member.

2020 (Freshman): Appeared in five games while starting in two during her first season with the Panthers… Posted  .818 fielding percentage with nine putouts on the year... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

PREP: Attended Yongker High School in Buckeye, Arizona...Won the A2 Outlaws Championship in 2015 and A2 Suncats Championship 2018... Was named MVP and lead homerun hitter for 1A Region.. Named to first team All-Region and Player of the Year...Named to first team region in soccer... Ranked second in the state for the Javelin.

ACADEMICS/COMMUNITY SERVICE: Majoring in recreation and sports management at FIU… Earned honor roll at Yongker High School... Was a member of the Athlete Book Club where she read to elementary school kids... Was a recreation sports facilitator.

PERSONAL: Born in Phoenix, Arizona.. Daughter of Jackie and Hank Garcia.. Has two younger siblings, Jeremiah and Alex… Besides softball she enjoys playing soccer, javelin, and badminton.. Favorite movies/TV shows are Unbroken and Malcolm in the Middle.
