2023 CUSA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll
 
2023 (Freshman): Appeared in 49 games, while making 46 starts as the Panthers’ primary option at second base…tabbed a .281 batting average with a total of 34 hits, including eight that went for extra bases…recorded six doubles and a pair of triples…swiped 18 bases on 22 attempts, which ranked as the second-highest total on the squad and eight in Conference USA…her .281 batting average as a freshman tied for the 32nd-best total in the conference…scored a total of 20 runs, which sat 37th best among conference leaders…recorded nine multiple hit games, including a season-best three knocks at UTEP (5/5)...committed six errors in 179 chances at second base.

Prep: Was a four-year varsity player at Montverde Academy in Altamonte Springs, Fla., where she posted a batting average of .349 in 2021 along with a .453 on-base percentage…was honored with selection to the 2021 FACA All-State Team and was her team's winner of the clutch award, for her late game performances under pressure…was ranked as the No. 84 recruit in the 2022 class by Extra Innings.

"I could not stop watching "Mimi" play shortstop last year in Colorado.  She is a slick fielding infielder that attacks the ball and can throw from many different arm slots. It is a joy watching her compete. She also can swing the bat.  Her travel ball coaches call her "Little Altuve".
