Prior to FIU: Finished her 4-year high school career at Palm Beach Central with a .382 batting average, while throwing out 90% of runners on base she faced… Earned 1st team all-conference honors and first team all-county accolades as a junior and senior… Recognized as having the best glove as a freshman and senior and went on to be MVP of her team as a junior.

Personal: Born Oct. 20, 1994… Daughter of Fernando and Sandra Carmona… has two siblings, Fernando and Vanessa… Majoring in political science with hopes of attending law school to become a sports agent
