2020 (JUNIOR): Played in one game during her junior campaign… Walked once... Season was cut short after 17 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in six games, started in three...Tallied one run, one hit and one RBI...In the field, accumulated five putouts and four assists to sport a 1.000 fielding percentage...Highlight of her season was in the win against Lamar (2/15/19) where she collected an RBI, a single and a run.

2018 (FRESHMAN):  Appeared in 11 games, started in seven...  Totaled 16 at-bats.... Earned two walks... Totaled an on-base percentage of .111... Accumulated two total putouts and eight assist.

PREP: Earned Freshman MVP award in 2014 and California Interscholastic Federation First-Team All-State in 2014, 2015 and 2016 ... Transferred as a junior, but still collected 22 RBI and scored 30 runs despite sitting out six weeks for transfer rules ... In 18 games as a senior, batted .480, with 18 runs scored and an on-base percentage of .540 ... Won numerous team and individual honors as a travel ball player ... Also participated in the school choir and drama class ... Volunteered with Special Olympics and served as manager of football team.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Cami Mojado and Raymond Castaneda ... Has a cousin, Shelby Ume, who plays softball at Charleston (WV) ... Has three older brothers, Jay, Ray and Shea ... Plans to major in biology.
